Film Analysis - Get ready to have some cinematic fun – and be prepared to do a great deal of thinking, listening, talking, writing and producing. This course addresses the fundamental vocabulary, artistry and technology of film and some basic digital film production. Here, you will develop a sense of aesthetics and the ability to critically analyze film by viewing, evaluating, discussing and writing about a variety of movies. You will then communicate your findings through a variety of presentation methods. But, that’s not all! Later in the course, you’ll have the chance to attend the Seattle International Film Festival, and you’ll have the option to brainstorm, plan, develop, shoot, edit and produce your own short film. You will develop a sense of production aesthetics as well as the ability to create short digital films.
