Chef Classes provide hands-on practice in food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, equipment use, nutrition, menu planning, leadership development, and careers in food related industries. Students in Chef 1 are taught basic skills, to prepare them for the increasingly more difficult techniques in Chef 2 and real-life catering projects in Chef 3.

Who Can Register? Chef 1 is open to everyone and is the beginning course in this series. Students who earn a C or better in the previous course are eligible to continue to the next level (Chef 2, Chef 3).
